So, when the Invisalign aligners are in place over a patient’s natural teeth, the aligners practically disappear. Many Invisalign patients appreciate that these aligners deliver results, without drawing attention to the fact that the patient is undergoing orthodontic treatment.
Q: How long does Invisalign take to deliver results?
A: As you would imagine, treatment timelines vary from patient to patient. The general length of Invisalign treatment is one year to a year and a half. Your treatment may be different depending on the current state of your smile, as well as your ultimate dental goals.
Q: What is it like to live with Invisalign day to day?
A: One of the major benefits of Invisalign treatment is that it truly does fit into your daily routine. You’ll take your aligners out to eat, drink anything other than water, and clean your smile. Because you’ll take your aligners out for meals, you don’t have to worry about altering your diet during treatment. The rest of the time, you want to have your aligners in as much as possible, ideally 23 hours a day. The more hours in a day that your aligners are in place, the faster you’ll see results.
